#1 Side Split Intermediate Program

Intermediate Program contains specific warm up and conditioning exercises for the Side Split, the necessary Zaichik Stretchingexercises to target the muscles involved in a Side Split as well as a cool down section. This is a great place to start before attempting the usually more demanding open front and side splits. You will learn how to isolate and stretch outer hamstrings and hip flexors muscles.
#2 - Intermediate True Front Split
A True Front Split is one of the two front split variations.

The True Front Split is achieved by moving the straight legs in opposite directions, while the hips remain squared. While some people consider an Open Front Split more challenging, the majority of the people who do the Open variation, have difficulty with this one.
#3 - Intermediate Open Front Split

Open Front Split is a technical terms for various sports and athletic activities. Where the skill is a side split or an open front split depends mainly on the rotation of the supporting leg. In the sport of Figure Skating this position is called the I-Spin or the Y-Spin. In Cheerleading it's named the Heel Stretch or Bow and Arrow for the Flyer. Other disciplines such as Yoga, Dance, Martial Arts and Gymnastics often employ this position. Open Front Split is a front split variation, which relied on the flexibility of the inner thighs first and hamstrings. It requires the hips to be one in front of the other. This split is often compared to the True Front Split, where the hips are squared.
